Welcome to RateMyProduct.co.za. RateMyProduct.co.za is an online product reviews website and ecommerce shopping platform, selling direct to customers and via affiliates.

The following terms and conditions (these “Terms of Service”), govern your access to and use of the RateMyProduct.co.za website, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through RateMyProduct.co.za (the “Site”), by Shaunspeare (Pty) Ltd, as applicable.

Please read the Terms of Service carefully before you start to use the Site. By using the Site, opening an account or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Service when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not want to agree to these Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Site. This Site is offered and available to users who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 you may not use this Site or the RateMyProduct.co.za services. By using this Site, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the Site.

Sellers & Affiliates


  • Sellers or affiliates can sign up to use RateMyProduct.co.za for buyers to purchase their services or products, or to sell products & services listen on the website for an affiliate referral commission.
  • Each product/service you sell and successfully complete, ratemyproduct will accredit your account with a net revenue of 80% of the purchase amount listed for the purchase. RateMyProduct keeps a minimum of 20% of the amount per transaction (the price being higher on some products, as per RateMyProduct.co.za’s listing fees)
  • The Amount will be visible in your RateMyProduct.co.za balance only once the order is completed.
  • Cancelled orders will have the funds returned to the buyer’s shopping balance.
  • Revenues due to the seller are only made available for withdrawal from the Revenue page following a safety clearance period of 14 days after the order is marked as complete.Verified Sellers are eligible to withdraw revenue following a safety clearance period of 7 days after the order is marked as complete. Payments are made out weekly directly into the bank accounts as per the details supplied by the sellers.
  • Sellers may promote their Listed Services/Products or any RateMyProduct.co.za content via AdWords, Facebook (and other social media platforms), Gumtree, classified sites, websites, offline, marketing, referral, promos, email and any other way they choose, to increase their business.
  • Sellers may withdraw their revenues using by simply sending a request through their dashboard.
  • Seller’s rating is calculated solely based on the order reviews posted by buyers. High ratings allow sellers to be more trusted and increases their authority and confidence of buyers, they also can qualify to be verified sellers.
  • For security concerns, RateMyProduct.co.za may temporarily disable a seller’s ability to withdraw revenue to prevent fraudulent or illicit activity. This may come as a result of security issues, improper behavior reported by buyers, or associating multiple RateMyProduct.co.za accounts to a single withdrawal provider.


  • Products/Services will be declined by RateMyProduct.co.za if they violate these Terms of Service, which includes (but not limited to) the following violations below:
    • Illegal or Fraudulent services
    • Copyright Infringement, Trademark Infringement, and violation of a third party’s terms of service reported through our Intellectual Property Claims Policy.
    • Adult oriented services, Pornographic, Inappropriate/Obscene
    • Spam, Nonsense, or Violent products/services.
    • Listed Services/Products misleading to buyers
    • Reselling of regulated goods
  • Listed Services/Products that are removed for violations mentioned above, may result in the suspension of the seller’s account depending on the charge they are guilty of. Keep it clean.
  • Please note that Listed Services/Products that are removed for violations won’t be restored or edited.
  • Listed Services/Products may include pre-approved website URLs listed within the mini-job description box. Listed Services/Products containing websites promoting content, which violates RateMyProduct’s Terms of Service, will be removed without mercy.
    Listed Services/Products must have an appropriate image related to the service offered. Sellers may upload even more than one image which will appear as a slideshow.

Accessories That Are Wrapped In Appropriate Amounts Of Cushioning Can Also Be Placed In Any Open Spaces Of The Box. Fill All Spaces With Additional Cushioning So That The Wrapped Item Fits Tightly Inside The Box. If No Open Spaces Exist, Pack Accessories In An Additional Box. Close And Seal Both The Top And Bottom Of The Box With Three Strips Of Pressure-Sensitive Plastic Tape That Is At Least 2″ Wide. Tape All Seams Or Flaps..

Delivery Attempts

The Shipping Courier Will Make Three Attempts To Deliver Your Merchandise And Will Leave A Message Notifying You Of The Attempt. If The Package Is Undeliverable After Three Attempts, The Product Will Be Returned To Our Warehouse. You Will Be Credited For The Price Of The Item, But You Will Not Be Credited For Any Shipping And Handling Charges You May Have Been Charged. If You Refuse Delivery, A Credit Will Be Issued For The Price Of The Product But Not For Shipping Charges (If Applicable). All Credits Will Be Applied To The Payment Method In The Original Order.

Leaving Signed Notes

By Leaving A Signed Note Giving The Courier Permission To Leave A Package At The Door, You Have Relinquished Our Company And The Courier Of Any And All Responsibility For Loss Or Damage.

Oversized Shipments

Due To Their Size, Orders For More Than 5 Items Will Arrive Via Freight Delivery. Tracking Information And Delivery Instructions Will Be Provided Via E-Mail, Once Your Order Ships. You Will Be Contacted By The Delivery Company To Arrange A Delivery Time.

Please Note: To Report Any Damage That Occurred During Delivery, Our Office Must Be Contacted Within The First 48 Hours Of Receiving Your Product. For Your Protection Please Inspect Your Package At The Time Of Delivery And Do Not Sign For Or Accept Any Shipping Container With External Damage.

Your Banking Institution May Require Additional Days To Process And Post This Transaction To Your Account Once They Have Received The Refund Information From Us. Please Allow 1-2 Billing Cycles From The Day You Return Your Package For Your Account To Be Credited.
